Weather Dome rain prims (8x8 sprite sheet, 2048^2, llSetTextureAnim LOOP) look blurry.
Known: texture fully decoded (discard 0) and VK demand high; texAnim UV math matches LL. Prime suspect: anisotropic filtering off (RenderAnisotropic default 0) on large planes seen at grazing angles.
Proposed: anisotropic 16x on by default for VK, live-switchable sampler.
Related: dome render fix (far plane 1024 m + distance-fade skip for camera-enclosing objects) - uncommitted at time of filing.
Fixed in
c5786d6bdc(user-verified in-world): gridless scroll texture animation now keeps the face TE repeats (the 1.6x200 rain texture was being stretched 1x1), plus texture-demand span fix. Same commit makes the 1.5 km weather dome render (projection far >= 1024 m like LL, distance fade skipped for camera-enclosing objects) and enables anisotropic filtering under Vulkan.
