Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
The alpha-test decision (cutoff, blend handling, mask vs blend) is implemented in 5+ places (raster, RT candidate tests, shadow walks, probes, forward) and they don't agree in every case, so a surface can be a hole in one path and solid in another.
Found by the #1039 design survey (copies of the same code that have drifted apart). The shared walk library planned as #1039 step M0 removes the duplicate.
Fixed in 1.5.0 Beta 1 (
e5aeae32d8). Reopen if you still see it.
