Descriptor-pool fix (vk_descpool) resolved VK_ERROR_OUT_OF_POOL_MEMORY on RX 5600 XT at login. Needs confirmation from an AMD tester that the world renders and plays.
Tester on RX 5600 XT (RADV NAVI10, Ubuntu 24.04) ran release vk-2026.09.27: all descriptor pools created, logged in, rendered the world, changed graphics prefs, walked around. Descriptor-pool fix confirmed on AMD. A separate (not AMD-specific) crash a minute in is tracked in #90.
Ticket audit 2026-10-07: done and shipped in 0.11.0 Beta 1. RADV descriptor-pool fix (
789e475c7f); tester confirmed the world renders. The later crash is tracked in #90. If you still see the problem on the current beta, please reopen or file a new report.
