Removed (along with the SDK package, which came from Alchemy's private
AlchemyViewer/3p-discord-sdkGitHub repo and failed to download in every Windows build). What it did
Discord "Playing" status via the Discord Social SDK (
discordpp). It showed "Playing " with elapsed time, optionally the avatar name (off by default) and location (never enabled), and a party size from nearby/voice participants. It talked only to the local Discord client. The settings were EnableDiscord, ShowDiscordActivityDetails and ShowDiscordActivityState, with a Preferences > Privacy > Discord tab.It was compiled out of all our builds (
USE_DISCORD=OFF) and used Alchemy's Discord application ID (564763931009220608).To add it back
3542c5fdab) with our app ID. Keep it off by default or clearly disclosed. Update the privacy policy (https://slipstreamviewer.org/privacy.html) first.Refs #214 (TPV compliance: privacy disclosures).
Duplicate of #205: Discord Rich Presence shipped in 1.0.0 Beta 9 (
5847d88c50,eb8c6250bb). Closing.
