Add an Ultra level to the mesh detail sliders in Preferences > Graphics > Advanced: Terrain, Trees, Objects, Flexiprims.
These are continuous LOD-factor sliders (
RenderTerrainLODFactor,RenderTreeLODFactor,RenderVolumeLODFactor,RenderFlexTimeFactor) labelled Low/Mid/High by range. Ultra extends each slider's range to 2x the current top factor (e.g. Objects 4 -> 8, Terrain 2 -> 4), and shows "Ultra" in the label text above the old max.Scope:
max_val(floater_preferences_graphics_advanced.xml, and any other panels exposing the same sliders, e.g.panel_performance_preferences.xml).MAX_LOD_FACTORforLLVOVolume::sLODFactor, settings sanity ranges, terrain patch LOD limits) so the extended values actually take effect, on both the LL path and the VK clean pipeline's LOD selection.Done in
f14d2010d8(mesh detail sliders have an Ultra level; label logic in llfloaterpreferencesgraphicsadvanced.cpp). Shipped in the 1.0.0 betas. Closing.
