From the LL-origin inefficiency audit (finding I14). File/line references are from commit
0229f8872c; re-locate them before working.AIS item fetch is one HTTP request per item, through a 1-coroutine pool
llinventorymodelbackgroundfetch.cpp:1010-1037; the legacy path batches 10 (:1063).FetchInventory2.Verify the cost (profile or timer) before and after changing it.
No work started yet; back to To Do.
In 1.3.0 Beta 2: queued AIS item fetches that share a folder are coalesced into one folder fetch, and forced refetches are held briefly so copy replies coalesce too.
Moving to testing rather than closing: inventory changes need an alt-account check (copy / move / relog, nothing lost or duplicated) before this is called done.
Shipped in 1.3.0 Beta 2 (82c267c664 coalesce queued AIS item fetches that share a folder into one folder fetch;
64d8d26e9dhold forced refetches so copy replies coalesce). Closing -- reopen or comment if you still see this.Correction: the coalescing commit is
82d267c664(typo in the previous comment).
