Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Part of #442, re-scoped 2026-10-06.
Decision: the Lightbox photo/grading feature itself stays and evolves into our own Photo Studio (#444). Its post-processing work is kept with credit (Alchemy's author is fine with it being in Slipstream). What we drop is the
al*UI widget framework the Lightbox is built on. Photo Studio's UI is rebuilt on standard LL widgets (plus any small widgets of our own we need), as part of the #444 redesign.Remove (when #444's new UI no longer needs them):
llcommon/alparamtype.No longer in scope (previous version of this ticket): deleting the Lightbox floater, Scopes, Looks, LUTs or the translated post shaders. Those are redesigned or renamed under #444 instead.
Done when: no
al*widget files or hooks remain, and Photo Studio works on standard widgets.Provenance: remove the Lightbox photo/grading studio, Scopes and al* UI widgets (unreleased Alchemy)to Drop the al* UI widget framework (Photo Studio UI moves to standard widgets)Shipped in a published release and tested; closing (testing-lane sweep 2026-10-11).
