Follow-up to #468.
In-world 2D text (name tags, hover/floating text, chat bubbles, beacon labels) draws on top of world geometry. LL's viewer depth-tests these against the scene, so a name tag behind a wall or a hill is hidden (or faded). In Slipstream it shows through.
Cause: our Vulkan UI/overlay text path has never depth-tested. #468 moved in-world text into a pre-HUD layer so HUDs now cover it correctly, but that layer is still colour-only with no scene depth.
Fix direction:
Test: stand an avatar behind a wall / terrain; its name tag and hover text should hide. Check with render scale < 1 and FSR on, in mirrors/snapshots, and that HUD text is unaffected.
