Environment

Slipstream Beta 1.1.0.4 (64bit) (SSE4_2)
Microsoft Windows 11 64-bit (Build 22621.4317)

Description

When using the Search Settings bar to look for settings in the Preferences menu, deleting a search term by pressing the X button to the right of the bar or selecting the whole term and then backspacing/deleting it all at once will make it not bring back submenu tabs that got excluded by the search. Searching for a term that only appears in some of the bars of the Chat, Colors, or Privacy submenus and then erasing the search term at once won't make those missing tabs appear again.

Persists through closing the Preferences window and opening it again. Is only fixed by searching for a term that appears in all tabs of a submenu, at which point the search term can be deleted safely.

Included video of the bug happening in the Chat submenu.

Reproduction steps

  1. Open Preferences (can be done with Ctrl+P).
  2. On the Search Settings bar, type a search term that would make only some of the tabs of one of the submenus with multiple tabs appear, as seen in the example video.
  3. Clear that search term either by clicking the X icon to the right of the search bar, or by selecting the whole term and backspacing/deleting it all at once.
  4. If the bug happened, the tabs that were excluded by the previous search should still not be back.

Optional, to get the absent tabs back:
5. In the Search Settings bar, input a term that should be present in all tabs of a submenu, like a single blank space " ". That should get the missing tabs back, even after backspacing/deleting it.
