Delete branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Opportunistic cleanup: when we are in a file anyway, replace Boost pieces the standard library now covers. No dedicated sweep; this ticket tracks the direction. To be revisited more closely later (with the wider third-party review).
Replace when touched

Compile time and binary size only; none of it is in the render path.
