Environment
Slipstream Beta 1.3.0.6 (64bit) (SSE4_2)
Microsoft Windows 11 64-bit (Build 22621.4317)
Description
The frame rate within the World Map window tends to get really low while I zoom out the map. Less frequently, it can happen when I zoom in as well. It seems to happen more consistently if I'm looking over a mostly unloaded part of the world map. Panning the map around doesn't seem to have a similar effect, no matter how fast I pan or to where.
The frame rate dips on the World Map window have no effect on the frame rate of the 3D scene.
Reproduction steps
Being investigated.
Fix pushed to main (tile loading outside the draw, live map drawing). Confirmed working by the owner; closes when the next beta ships.
Fixed in 1.3.0 Beta 8 (
v1.3.0-beta.8). Thanks for the report!
