Thanks for the report! Unfortunately the log attached by the in-viewer reporter didn't include any voice lines (the report tool was stripping them -- that's being fixed so future reports include them, with personal information removed).
Could you attach your full log so we can see what voice is doing on your setup?
%APPDATA%\SlipstreamViewer\logs\Slipstream.log(paste that into the File Explorer address bar). Attach the file here, or the lines containingVoiceif you'd rather not share the whole thing. Two more things that would help:
We're also moving voice on Windows to a newer audio backend that handles multichannel and virtual devices (like VoiceMeeter) better; it will be in an upcoming beta.
Beta 11 is out. On Windows the newer voice audio backend is now off by default, because it made Windows turn down other programs. Could you update and tell us whether you hear voice now?
Slipstream 1.3.0 (stable) is out: https://git.slipstreamviewer.org/sky_line/Slipstream/releases/tag/v1.3.0
It includes a new Windows voice audio backend and better audio-device logging. Could you check whether voice works for you on 1.3.0? If it still doesn't, please send a bug report from the viewer (Help > Report Bug) right after trying, so we get the device log.
