Fix for the next 1.3 release (
f4f400197don release/1.3). From your recording, only the layered collar changes brightness, stepping between a few fixed levels. That points to draw order. Nested transparent layers on a rigged mesh share almost the same centre, so their sort order could flip from frame to frame, and the layers aren't all lit identically (the inner ones pick up the shading of what's beneath them). Rigged transparent layers now use LL's own sorting rule, so an enclosing layer always draws after the ones inside it.Once the release is out, could you check the collar again? Also, when you said "regardless of shadows", did that include projector shadows off (Preferences / RenderVKProjectorShadows 0) as well as sun shadows? That tells us whether there's a second cause.
Thanks, if I set RenderVKProjectorShadows to 0, the issue persists. In preferences, Shadows would be set to "None".
Happy to get back to you once 1.3 release is out.
Fixed in Slipstream 1.3.0 (stable): https://git.slipstreamviewer.org/sky_line/Slipstream/releases/tag/v1.3.0
