Slipstream Beta 1.4.0.1 (64bit) (SSE4_2)
Description
Activating the World Freeze feature stops all animations and freezes all avatars and objects in place, with all of them synching back to their server-side positions once it's deactivated. However, when an avatar that wasn't present in the scene when World Freeze was activated appears, they'll still appear moving around. They won't play any animations, and some of their attachments may not load properly, but their position will be updated as if the feature wasn't activated.
From what I've heard, this is an issue on Black Dragon's implementation of World Freeze as well.
The video attached demonstrates the bug. Another avatar is able to join and move around even while the scene is in World Freeze, although they don't play any animations and don't fully render all the attachments of the avatar (the avatar that entered the scene is meant to have a hat).
Reproduction steps
This is easier to reproduce with the help of either another willing player, or with an alt account. That other player will be referred to as the "helper".
Fixed in 1.4.0, avatars that arrive on the sim while it's on have their positions frozen too.
They'll still appear (without animations) in the spot that they arrived the sim at, which could be observed as a way of "breaking the world freeze effect" if they weren't present in the sim at all when the world was frozen. However, since this issue doesn't concern that scenario, I'll be closing it.
