    New features

    • FPS limit: Preferences > Graphics > Advanced, next to VSync (0 = unlimited). It only waits when you're running faster than the cap, so it never slows a frame that's already below it.
    • Skip the pre-jump crouch: new checkbox in Preferences > Move & View to jump instantly.
    • '/' no longer opens chat by default. To bring the old behaviour back, turn on the debug setting SlashStartsChat.
    • Shared key bindings: in Preferences > Controls, several actions can now use the same key or mouse button (e.g. Down + Crouch), and they all fire together. Debug setting ControlsAllowSharedBindings (on by default).
    • Build floater: arrow buttons to step through the parts of a linkset, Alchemy's layout for the top area, and the Align tool are back (from upstream Alchemy).
    • Script editor: a File > Enable LSL Preprocessor toggle, and a field for your external editor command in Script Preferences, used by the Edit... button. Leave it blank to use your system's default app.
    • Audio: 3D binaural (HRTF) processing is now off by default. It made audio sound muffled or "like bad headphones" on some headphone setups, mostly Windows front-panel jacks. Debug setting AudioOpenALHRTF turns it back on.

    Fixes

    • Windows: crash when an avatar leaves the region. Heap corruption (0xc0000374) crashed every Windows user in a sim at once, whenever someone left.
    • Windows: custom mouse cursors are back: the chair on seats, grab, pay, media, build tools, etc.
    • Crash on exit (use-after-free in the texture teardown; "double free or corruption" on Linux).

    Windows testers: getting crash dumps

    If the viewer closes without a crash report, run AlchemyCrashDumps.reg (ask for it) or the PowerShell snippet from #107. The next crash will then leave a .dmp in %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashDumps. Please send it together with Alchemy.log.
