  Mirrored build archive (windows64 only; Linux uses the system libvlc) from https://github.com/secondlife/3p-vlc-bin/releases/tag/v3.0.24.22b238b (Linden Lab, released 2026-10-06), byte-identical to the upstream asset (sha256 matches GitHub's digest). Slipstream #394.

  Provenance check: all 364 files under bin/release/ (libvlc.dll, libvlccore.dll, plugins/) are byte-identical to the official VideoLAN vlc-3.0.24-win64.7z (sha256 1ed59c09152e78aff84663fa76efab26057716576db74332858810e5ef54ae1f, matching videolan.org's .sha256); the import libraries lib/release/libvlc.lib / libvlccore.lib are Linden Lab's.
