Description

Weather effects like snow build up and sound effects don't get removed properly when teleporting to a different sim. I tested two scenarios:

  1. Enabling snow through the Local weather option.
  2. Enabling snow through enabling Use the weather a parcel publishes option and then going to a parcel that had a snow parcel weather set.

On scenario 1, I disabled the Local weather before going to a different sim. In scenario 2, I left Local weather disabled, and enabled Use the weather a parcel publishes and went to a parcel that had a set parcel weather that had snow, before going to the same different sim. The parcel in the different sim I teleported to didn't have a set parcel weather. In both cases, the snow from the first sim persisted into the second, and in scenario 2, the snow sound effect also persisted.

Reproduction steps

For the bug to happen

  1. Go to a sim A.
  2. Open the Weather window (can be done from the World top menu or the toolbar button) and enable snow weather. Can be done with either the Local weather option, or with the Use the weather a parcel publishes option with a parcel that has a set parcel weather.
  3. Let the snow build up to a point where it's visible.
  4. If you enabled Local weather, disable it.
  5. Go to a sim B. If you enabled weather through the Use the weather a parcel publishes option, make sure that the parcel you teleported on doesn't have a parcel weather set.
  6. If the bug happened, the sim B should still have snow built up on it, as well as snow sounds.
