Let users bring their history over from another viewer.

Chat / IM logs (primary)

Locate each viewer's per-account log folders by default (FS %APPDATA%/Firestorm_x64, ~/.firestorm_x64; Alchemy AlchemyViewer/~/.alchemyviewer; BD BlackDragon; official SecondLife), with a folder picker as fallback.
Handle the format differences (LL .txt transcripts, FS naming/date prefixes, per-day files, conversation logs conversation.log), dedupe against what we already have, and write into our chat log dir so the Conversations/history views see them.

Settings (secondary, opt-in)

Import a curated, whitelisted subset of settings.xml / settings_per_account.xml (graphics basics, camera offsets, chat/UI preferences, key bindings) with name mapping where keys differ (FS/BD-specific keys mapped to ours or skipped). Never import blindly: show a preview of what will change.
Other data worth considering: saved teleport history/landmarks cache, contact sets (FS), autoreplace/spellcheck dictionaries, graphic presets.

Entry point: Preferences (Advanced) and the first-run floater (see the 'where did you come from' ticket).
